Accept Litecoin (LTC) payments without KYC

The hosting-classic silver to Bitcoin's gold

Litecoin is the oldest surviving payments coin and a long-standing favourite in hosting: fast 2.5-minute blocks, fees at cents level and a buyer base that has paid for servers with LTC for over a decade. For many VPS and game-server merchants it is the natural second coin after BTC.

The mechanics mirror Bitcoin exactly: on the direct plan buyers pay straight to your own ltc1 (or legacy L/M) address, simultaneous invoices are told apart by unique amounts, and detection watches UTXO outputs through an indexer with a fallback provider. Six blocks — roughly fifteen minutes — is the confirmation budget.

Addressing modes

Direct (non-custodial)

Payments go straight to your wallet: One static Litecoin address (ltc1… / L… / M…) from any wallet — every invoice pays to it with a unique amount window. Same UTXO matching as BTC.

Litecoin (LTC) payment FAQ

How fast does an LTC payment confirm?

After 6 network confirmations — about 15 minutes on Litecoin's 2.5-minute blocks. payment.detected fires as soon as the transaction is visible.

LTC vs BTC — why accept both?

Same UTXO mechanics for you, different behaviour for buyers: LTC confirms ~5× faster with cents-level fees, which matters for small hosting invoices; BTC brings the deepest liquidity. payment_currency=any lets each buyer pick.

Is LTC volatile like BTC?

Yes — LTC invoices re-quote every few minutes until the payment is first seen on-chain, then freeze. The buyer always sees the exact amount to send.

Which wallets work for the direct plan?

Any wallet that shows a Litecoin address: Electrum-LTC, Exodus, Ledger, Trezor or an exchange deposit address reserved for ZeroKYC Pay. The platform stores the address only — keys never leave your wallet.
