Stablecoin payments at cents-level BSC fees

USDT as a BEP-20 token on BNB Smart Chain is the cheap rail of the USDT family: transfers cost cents, blocks are three seconds, and the BSC audience — from retail to small hosting businesses — keeps growing. For low-ticket VPS and VPN invoices it is the most economical option after TRC-20.

Mechanically it is a standard EVM asset: you connect one static 0x address from any wallet (the same address that receives native BNB), invoices get unique amount windows, and detection watches BEP-20 Transfer events with a 15-confirmation budget — about 45 seconds in practice.

Direct (non-custodial)

Payments go straight to your wallet: static address + unique amounts — one EVM 0x address receives BEP-20 transfers; concurrent invoices are disambiguated by non-overlapping amount windows. The same address also receives native BNB.

USDT on BSC payment FAQ

Why 15 confirmations for USDT BEP-20?

BSC produces a block roughly every three seconds, so 15 blocks ≈ 45 seconds. That depth covers BSC's short-window reorg behaviour comfortably and matches what BSC-native payment services use.

Does the same address also receive BNB?

Yes — one EVM address receives both USDT BEP-20 and native BNB. Enable the two assets separately in the console; both run on the same connected wallet address, exactly like ETH and USDT on Ethereum.

BEP-20 vs TRC-20 — which is cheaper?

Both run at cents level. TRC-20 has the longer track record and wider legacy wallet support; BEP-20 fits the BSC/MetaMask audience and shares one address with BNB. Many merchants enable both and let the buyer choose.

Which USDT contract is used?

The canonical Tether BEP-20 contract on BSC (0x55d398…7955). Transfers from any wallet or exchange that follows the standard BEP-20 interface are detected.
